Dance Diagram
Andy Warhol's seven Dance Diagram paintings were shown on the floor in his first one-man show in 1962, instantly setting Andy apart from other artists. The source material was taken from the Dance Guild’s 1956 book Fox Trot Made Easy [5], and the paintings were meant to be instructional and participatory…get ready to boogie. Dance Diagram can be installed in any fashion that tickles your fancy — right side up, upside down, with a half drop or perfectly aligned on the wall. So, feel free to lay out your own personal dance party!

“The key of the success of Studio 54 is that it’s a dictatorship at the door and a democracy on the dance floor.”
