Is Flavor Paper edible?
We’re often asked if you can lick or eat our papers and we understand why - it all looks delicous! But for the record, the answer is a hard no! We do, however, dish out scratch-and-sniff designs that smell like real deal fruity or cannabis goodness – or chocolate chip cookies, diesel, rain, roses, really whatever you want!

 

Do you have a Trade Program?
We sure do! If you’re an accredited member of the A+D community we invite you to apply to receive complimentary samples and a delicious discount. All you have to do is complete the form in full, but please note that an EIN and an active company website are required to join.

 

What’s your standard lead time?
Lead times vary per product and production method, and are updated daily on our website. But, generally speaking…

  • Samples ship within 4-7 business days. Please note that they are intended to aid in purchase decisions, not to be installed.  

  • Handscreen rolls are made-to-order, so allow about 4-5 weeks for inline orders, and 6-8 weeks for custom designs to be produced and shipped.

  • Digital Murals and Patterns are also made-to-order. Inline orders will ship within 3-4 weeks of mock up approval, and custom designs will ship within 6-8 weeks.

  • EZ Papes + Quicky Sticky Flavors are ready to enjoy in 2-3 weeks.

  • Merch can be yours within 1 week of placing your order
     

I need my order faster. Do you accomodate rush orders?
If you happen to have specific time constraints let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadline. Please note that rush jobs are subject to a 30% surcharge.

 

Have any special shipping requirements?
We do. We're just looking out for you!

  • We require that you confirm your mailing address prior to shipment, which can be done in the "Payment & Shipment Confirmation" email that will come your way once your payment is received. Additionally, if your shipping address changes before your order ships, we ask that you alert us immediately so we can ensure that your Flavor lands in the right spot. If we are not informed of a change, or if you don't confirm your address upon payment, then we are not responsible for redirection or reshipment fees.
     
  • We also require signatures upon receipt for all Handscreen, Digital, EZ Papes and Quicky Sticky Flavors. We will send you a tracking email once your order ships with the expected delivery dates so you can plan accordingly. Sample and Merch orders ship via UPS and will not require a signature.

     

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, Flavor Paper is worldwide! We use UPS, FedEx, and DHL; we do not ship overseas via an outside freight carrier and we cannot ship to PO Boxes. Also worth noting: Flavor Paper is not accountable for any international import duties or fees. All costs are calculated by the country of import and our shipping partners, and shall be the responsibility of the receiver.

 

How do you create your wallcoverings?
Flavor Paper produces wallpaper by handscreened and digital printing; sometimes both for special projects. In either case we use water-based inks (latex or eco-solvent) to be as green as possible, and only the finest ground substrates with eco-friendly materials available for both processes. All Flavor Paper is made-to-order, so you are free to interchange colors and grounds with screen-printed wallpaper, as well as choose scale and colors for digital designs.

 

Do you offer custom wallpaper?
Absolutely! This can include mixing and matching our ink colors and grounds, creating unique hues to pair with our design and your aesthetic, playing around with scale for digital offerings, or even developing a one-of-a-kind wallcovering with your artwork or that we develop from scratch. Do you make removable wallpaper?
Yes! But, like everything else we do, ours is a little different than the other stuff out there – from the styles to the substrates we use. Our line of Removable patterns includes:

  • EZ Papes: Designs that are printed on a pre-pasted ground with a water activated paste. In short, all you have to do is dip the paper underwater and hang; lightly wet it to take it down.

  • Quicky Sticky: Our version of classic peel-and-stick paper as the adhesive-backed material is slightly textured for a luxe look and feel…plus, it’s super durable. Another added bonus with these is that they’re a cinch to reposition if you “mess up” or plan on moving and want to rehang the paper.

 

Do I need an installer or can I hang the paper myself?
That depends on your confidence for DIY! If you're working with our “traditional” patterns and/or murals, then we highly recommend you tap a professional installer – for suggestions please drop us a line or visit: wallcoveringinstallers.org. However, our EZ Papes and Quicky Sticky self-install styles offer a simple way for you to Flavor up your world (see above). Installation instructions for all are below:

 

How will I know how much wallpaper to order?
To help ensure that your walls are fully covered, we’ve implemented a very reliable roll and square footage calculator on our website. All you have to do is measure each wall individually, (ignore your doors and windows as if they are not there), and add those dims to our calculator to get a roll or sqft count. That said, we highly recommend you consult a professional installer before finalizing your order, although we are also happy to help you with the math.

 

Are your wallpapers suitable for both residential and commercial projects?
Yes, there’s a Flavor for all interests and applications. We have an extensive and exciting grounds that includes both commercial grade type II and more residential-friendly materials, so contact us to determine what substrate is best suited for your space.

P.S. If you’re looking to make a visual splash in a bathroom – because really wetting wallcoverings is highly frowned upon – any ground goes, though our Eco Textured Matte Type II is the cream of the crop for high-moisture zones. 

 

What’s your return and refund policy?
Sorry to be the bearer of unflavorful news, but since every order is unique we do not accept returns nor provide refunds. To ensure that your wallpaper is printed to your exact specifications, please take extra care in confirming the design(s), colorway(s), ground choice(s), height and width, and shipping information. And, if you haven’t done so already, we highly recommend you consult a professional installer before finalizing your order to verify dimensions, and to account for any doors, windows, moldings, etc. since these elements make things a tad more complicated. Please call us if you have any questions prior to placing your order.    

**If you do experience a snafu with your order and it’s within 30 days of delivery please contact us and we will happily help rectify the situation. Please note that there may be fees involved if we find that we are not responsible for the error (i.e. installer or jobsite blunders), and if we are notified outside of the previously mentioned time frame.

 

Where can I see the Flavors live?
In addition to hotels, museums, trade shows, your favorite bar, and likely your best friend’s house, you can see, touch and even smell – hello, scratch-and-sniff scents! – our designs at select showrooms across the globe…including our off-the-wall showplace at the Flavor Lair (216 Pacific St, Brooklyn, NY). We're open by appointment only, Monday through Friday, so please contact us to schedule a visit. However, let us know if one of these locations is not convenient and we will be more than happy to help you.
