Not one to want people to bare themselves in boredom, Michael Angelo spiced up his Wonderland Beauty Parlor changing rooms with custom Day-Glo colored Flower of Love wallpaper. The chrome Mylar acts as a mirror while the Day-Glo reflects Michael’s personality and furniture. The sexual nature of Flower of Love is only the tip of the iceberg in Wonderland! Right outside is Fishnet in Licorice on White Vinyl, which Jon designed just for that spot.

This renowned Meatpacking district beauty parlor has an extremely fun atmosphere which helped inspire Jon to create the wallpaper cutouts that act as finals for the top of the Flower of Love and the Onda over the washbasins.

Michael designed the scratch & sniff Fruit Cocktail Collection with us and several of these images show the MPD Design Week parties we’ve thrown together. We were all extremely happy and proud when Cherry Forever was added to the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt Museum.
