Serendipity 3
New York, NY

While we're more of a King Cake kind of krewe, we dig Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, too. So, it was a real treat when the team at Serendipity 3 in New York wanted to incorporate some tasty Flavor into its sweet and newly revamped shop. On the menu for the 67-year-old restaurant was an assortment of designs from our Andy Warhol collection since the vibe objective was to pop up the place in honor of Warhol who had been a fixture there since the 1950s when he was a struggling illustrator. As the spot’s chef Joe Calderone told Artnet News, “Serendipity was [Warhol’s] first factory, where he would sell his shoe illustrations in exchange for his meals. He was a regular until his untimely death in 1987.” To toast the man, the myth, the legend that we’re honored to celebrate every day thanks to our exclusive collab with The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts (going strong since 2013), our Happy Butterfly Day, Marilyn Monoprint, Money, Selfie, and Small Flowers styles work the walls and have proven to serve up crowd-pleasing backdrops for Instagrammers craving 15 minutes of fame. We love when world’s collide and when we can really pay homage to the history and hitmakers beyond what we do…we think Andy would be proud!
