King Bolden’s
New Orleans, LA
Located directly across from Armstrong Park, this fun and funky bar was the spot to hang in the Big Easy. When proprieter Mario Luigi Madero wanted to create a unique space he turned to Flavor Paper. Because the bar has brick walls we turned to the floor and covered it in Highway 66 in Pomegranate on Chrome Mylar. It was a perfect compliment to the Herman Leonard and Michelle Elmore photographs, live jazz, and nightly DJ sets. There’s some major Flavor in the VIP room with lots of Cycloid Sugar printed on chrome Mylar, Lexan, and vinyl upholstery for a full Flavored effect.
Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina got the best of it and all we have left are fuzzy memories.
