Cyan/pdx is a Portland, OR condo development that leans green. Blue green in particular. “Well-designed urban homes with small carbon footprints for real people” is how they put it. Because their mission is to encourage green living they advocate bike usage, so when choosing an appropriate backdrop for their impressive sales center Flavor Paper’s Flower Pedal was a beautiful match.

Portland design firm Ziba designed the sales center and were very specific in their color needs due to the implications of the Cyan name. Flavor Paper rose to the challenge by utilizing Duotone powders and different levels of matting to create three delicious hues of cyan that are each strong enough to stand alone. Because of the way the different ink agents work the details in the wallpaper change as you move and light shifts. The resulting living wallpaper and it’s calming effect is fantastic.
