Designed by Emily Minnie, 'Sakura' is a climbing floral pattern of Japanese cherry blossoms that's super clean and modern with a distinct pop style. No wonder the whimsical De Witte Leile Hotel went for it for its luxury guest room. Always a crowd pleaser, Shyama Golden’s 'About Face' investigates concepts and representations of femininity...and has fittingly found itself at home in many bathroom projects, like the JL Design Nashville Collective on 8th residential complex (photo cred: Leslee Mitchell Photography). Interior designer Sam Simon shining the spotlight on 'City of Light' in a NY condo. This is a modernist pattern that has a sense of organization, yet reads relaxed randomness. A brilliant fireworks display? No, it’s Jane Blevin’s gorgeous 'Meteor Flower' wallpaper, which clearly makes a splash in any setting. Happy International Women’s Day!! While championing women in design is our modus operandi all day, every day, today we’re poppin' a few extra bottles to toast all the ladies of the world who are helping to make it a better place…especially those in our orbit. We’re extremely lucky and grateful to have an incredible krewe of women that keep the Flavor Paper magic rolling across all areas of the biz — from printing and design, to operations. And, we work with amazing female artists whose visions constantly inspire us! So much so that we created a Fempower collection a few years ago to celebrate the power of women in the design industry, and ever since its debut the patterns and murals up in the mix continue to be a major draw for residential and commercial projects. Psst: we're currently cooking up a second, spectacular edition of Fempower that we'll drop next month and pepper out throughout the year to keep the love rollin'! So, stay tuned for that goodness. In the meantime, here’s a look at some of our extraordinary collaborators’ works of art. The last photo features the woman who made Flavor Paper possible — FP founder + creative director Jon Sherman’s amazing mother Betsy Sherman (big love to papa George who's also shown), who dedicates much of her time to helping women in need!! Thanks ladies!
