A Cause for Collaboration

Flavor Paper is all about supporting creative game-changers who stand up to make a difference in the world. We’re honored to team up with Julian Alexander, founder of the design studio Slang Inc., and Steven John Irby, co-founder + director + executive producer of Street Dreams Magazine, who are doing just that...moving critical conversations forward through art by taking their new community project “Supremacy: Who Protects Me From You?” to the streets of NY to drive real talk and provoke thought around supremacy as it relates to government, policing, and the judicial system. We printed the twenty-one-foot mural, which features an image Irby took after curfew at a recent protest in Manhattan. Roll up to Flushing Ave between Washington and Waverly to feel the force of the message firsthand (props to local curator and activist Khadijat Oseni for securing the location). Stay up. Stand up. Act now! Video: Joe Cavallini Music: Richie O. Photography: Jose Cabaco
